I adored this but also...I've been reading this manga for almost as long as I've been reading on dynastyscans and I'm not ready for it to be over...

To anyone worried about this ending soon, note that this one ending arc took more than a year.

When she said it'd been seven years, and she never made it back to Japan, and she wondered if Honoka was lonely, I was like "That's an awful long time to go without at least a phone call or a text. Something's gotta be up."

I am still a little confused about the timeline. Seems like Kaoru knew what was up.

What? Isn't this mistranslated?? Elisha says something along the lines of "The submission was marked as a collaboration... it had written on it to call this person too if it won... I won [too]...!" In other words, Honoka had included Elisha's name with her manuscript (the one they had the big gay promise about in 289, that she found out about for the first time in 290, which won and they were celebrating in 304) without her knowledge. That's why the publisher calls Elisha second after Honoka, and why their call is a shock to her. She did not submit anything herself, and was focused on assisting Honoka; Honoka secretly crediting her is a massive gesture of love and gratitude, which leads into the tender tone of their conversation after that.

That does make more sense. The way the scene plays out now is a bit strange.

This ending was magnificent, worth the wait.

They're one of best pairs, at least for me, reading this made my day better.

The fact that they deliberately made it seem like they separated is so evil.. They're my favs and I was genuinely about to cry because I only want good things for them!! Like, AHH!! But they're happy together and I ended up crying anyways.. Girlfriends forever!!
