I know people have some issues with how Yasaka Shuu's previous manga went, but since this one is literally starting with a confession I think it (probably) won't suffer from similar problems. I thought this chapter was really cute and I look forward to future ones!

There's quite a number of new and interesting yuri manga thats has been released this year! :) It's by Yasaka Shuu, no wonder the art style looked so familiar.

I can't say I won't be wary, but Yasaka Shuu is definitely a competent mangaka. Their last work hooked me for a while, it really wasn't until the very end that I started to get worn down. I've got hopes for this one

I feel like their editor must have called Yasaka Shuu into the office, pointed to How do I Get Together With My Childhood Friend, and said "do it again, but right this time!" I mean, one of the girls even has an astronomy hobby!

While I didnt quite feel as mad about the "these idiots can't manage to work up a confession" except for the way it ended obviously prematurely as some of you, I'm very excited for "this idiot can't stop confessing to her target"

Yeah, best to expect being literally given the runaround for 90% of its chapters though.

Also, a reminder her that, while the author's previous manga had high schooler characters so idiotically convinced their love was unrequited until basically the last chapter or two, the one before that had a college couple that got together within the first few chapters

On the one hand, their last manga was a slog to a huge let down. On the other hand: Autistic girl falls for jock, immediately confesses, is exactly my jam.

I'll definitely stick around a while, at least until it seems like another wheel-spinning nothing story.

Knowing this author, this is going to be this one joke over and over for like 20 chapters until everyone's sick of it :P Looking forward more to comments under this one than the actual manga.

I don't have an ounce of faith in this author anymore, i don't want a repeat of last time...

I didn't even dislike the last manga as much as other people did, but what's distracting me is that these characters look EXACTLY the same as last time

Many chapters of increasingly contrived misunderstandings, then sudden forced drama, followed by a rushed resolution. So the progression felt very artificially forced (both the stagnation and the resolution) and basically a big waste of time.

I'm cautiously optimistic that the mangaka won't repeat the same mistakes this time. But I'm prepped for bailing at the first sign of repeating history.

Well let's hope this one isn't as full of misunderstandings, self sabotage, and outright fumbling of the ball as the last.
