That was a heck of an emotional ride of a chapter :O This really captures the feeling of that first love so well, when you're being so flustered and excited that you throw all your concerns out the window to be with the other person, even for a moment. The obsession too, when all you can think of is the person you like and it starts bleeding over into everything you do. This all rang very true to me.

Ah what wonderful development. I do wonder if Akebi snuck out as well or if she got permission to leave at 10-11 at night to see her crush.

Idk, this manga already has a yuri kiss so maybe it'll actually happen, but who knows. But I have high hopes, since this seems way more than just teasing

Aight, I ain't read this one yet, but judging by the comments here at the (as of writing this) end it seems like there is some pay off after 80 chapters so... I guess I'll start at chapter 1.

I've felt 100% confident this was intentionally textually intended as gay since all the way back in chapter 43, from four years ago. Since then we've had explicit confirmations of gay relationships, gay kisses, every other character shipping Komichi and Erika, and Komichi explicitly saying that her feelings of love for Erika expressed in the video they made are real, not acting. Anyone still afraid they're getting baited is way too paranoid, we're long past the point of no return to denialability lol.

bro, we got the confirmation that this is yuri just 10-15 chapters ago, that doesn’t work if you think for the past 50 chapters we thought it was subtext, and not i’m not gonna lower my yuri definition to mean friendship.

that is like ignoring context to pretend you were right or something, we have many mangas were we were 100% they were gonna end up together only to be a wet fart of an ending, like please spare me the idea that 40 chapters was enough of an indication were i got stories that you couldn’t say they were NOT IN LOVE with one another only for the author to pull the we are best fewnds, so yeah thank got we got 80 chapters to reach this conclusion, should i thank the gay gods it paid off instead of going 130 without anything changing?
