Aight, you do you. Also, I'm pretty sure the artist said that comics like this one here are not supposed to be seen as jokes and more as criticism to how overly judgmental people can be based on appearances. She has other comics like this one and they don't have "punchlines" but more of a "moral of the story: don't be a judgmental a-hole" climax
^^Tbh I think Nijika, or even the entire band would fit the song, as its about wishing to never let go of a bond. But as Kita is the main visuals, so I think it's easy to deduce it should be about her. Though as we're not literally bocchers, we'll probably never know for real.
Its also bc the Lyrics fits Kita and Bocchi better and their relationship in the manga is closer atm, Nijika and Ryo have their own thing going on so yeah there is that too
I think it's simple process of elimination. Ai x Junko are popular, Sakura x Saki is popular, so the leftover Yuugiri x Lily get paired up together, since Tae doesn't have as much shippability as the rest.
This is 100% fine with me as I want Tae for myself.
^Yes the author treating homosexuality as a "joke" is a large part of my problem, even if it's improved over time as you say the start is still bad. The gay character that can't take a hint and persistently harasses at least one straight character or more, it continues this homophobic notion that being gay means you don't have boundaries with hitting on straight people and just make them uncomfortable. It's not funny. I also hate it with Tite Kubo as well, with the likes of "Chizuru Honsho" in Bleach, and "Macy Baljure" in Burn The Witch.
As for @TopKoak's comments, I think perhaps they're getting mixed up with an arc in Railgun T where Kuroko has her memories of Misaka wiped? During this arc she "claims" to be straight, but she pretty much immediately begins falling for Misaka again.
There's actually a really awesome scene later on in the arc where she basically embraces her feelings for Misaka and uses them to hive herself the resolve to beat an enemy
