I'm a bit surprised that Ai's sister is already talking about bringing Nagisa to America with her. I'd personally thought that this sort of possible permanent separation between Ai and Nagisa would happen in the final story arc of the manga, after Ai and Nagisa have developed a close bond. Then again, maybe the manga is already coming to an end.

There is AT LEAST up to chapter 14 left, since that's what's out by now, so no worries for now :)

As for the story itself, while idk how it got here, I just hope that this ends better than Boku no Shounen. That one has basically the exact same shouta-bait premise but turns out pretty touching, all things considered.

Finally got the chance to catch up now that it’s the weekend, and wow, was not expecting that, but I’m sure it’ll all be figured out somehow since the series doesn’t seem like it’ll come to an end any time soon.

I also find it a bit funny how Ai is so positive that Nagisa has 0 romantic/sexual attraction towards her like he’s not a teenage boy lol

I finally got to chap. 8 of this. HET tag caught me. The first chap was fine and as you go along, it is building up. There is a good reason why it is here in Dynasty.

Now, I won't touch anymore the storyline since I might be spoiling things. I remembered somebody strongly negate my trajectories in My Unrequited Love. hahaha... I learned my lesson in WDTFS that I shouldn't backed up my take with things that are subtly there in the manga and threading all these things. Since, it will not be beneficial to the manga at the same time to the writer where the story ending could be a mess. SO, I learned to just wait for the story to unfold and let the writer do his/her art and telling. You can sense good writing by how naturally the characters are introduced. Slow and burning, as each chapter fleshes out the character just like in Fluttering Feelings to which you can easily make trajectories since it is well-thought out.

I love to see this through and how this one play out. :)

I see. That's a relief.

This chapter didn't do much to improve my opinion of Nagisa's father and stepmother. The former came off as rather neglectful of his son and both his wives, while the latter apparently had no idea what she was getting into when she got married(a bit like Eri Minami, the Temperance Social Link of Persona 4, before she changed for the better).

This chapter's art was rather odd. The shading was strangely done, almost as if it was originally supposed to be color but was then converted into black and white, or if a different artist/assistant did it. I'm not very good at art, so I can't describe it all that well, but it looked different from the previous chapters.

The moon sure is beautiful.

This forceful teasing of the author, "yes we get it they are not blood related" , and "yes the moon is beautiful" .
We get it, They are going to end together somehow, geez.

Read the first chapter. It seems pretty promising. Him licking her tears away rubbed me the wrong way, but that's mostly cause I find that kind of weird in general. Over all, I think I'mma keep with this and see where it goes.

Also, idk why people bashing just cause it's het. As far as I know there aint any ban on non-yuri content.

I always hate the manga parents who pull the arbitrary “I’ve ignored you up until now, but suddenly you have to move away because I say so” gambit, so I’m kind of a sucker for the “kid stands up for themselves” reversal.

So this is fine.

I haven't been on long, so I didn't expect people to get mad at it. Daphie can translate whatever makes her happy, and I'm glad I got to read a cute series because of her hard work. See you, space daphie.

It's not even his (expected) decision to stay that makes this chapter so good, it's how he's finally no longer just passively accepting everything and actually speaking up about his own wishes. ^_^

Gotta say I'm with him on one thing: Yakisoba is really good. Well, if the sauce is good.

Someone once asked why I read yuri, and I explained that traditional romance stories felt more like a battle of wills, where the protagonists clash until one of them gives in. It rarely feels healthy. Stories where the protagonists mature while cooperating to reach a common goal just feels more common in yuri stories, but it is by no means exclusive to the genre.

I'm honestly not sure if this story qualifies as romance, but it certainly qualifies as love. I really enjoy watching as they support each other during their simple journey through daily life. There's no hint of changing to suit the other's preferences, only the desire to become a better person for the sake of the other, and the genuine encouragement they give for each other's efforts. It's just...beautiful.

The fact that Nagisa's father specifically warns him that he'll have to move out if anything happens with "that woman"*- the phrasing is vague enough that Nagisa doesn't get it but the implication is clearly that he's talking about Nagisa falling in love with Ai- seems to imply that the story will eventually take a romantic turn, that Nagisa's father will find out about Nagisa and Ai being a couple, and that Nagisa and Ai will have to deal with the consequences. While I'm not a fan of that potential plot development, I have to admit that a part of me is interested in seeing how things play out if Nagisa's dad finds out that his son and sister-in-law are romantically involved.

*Incidentally, I wonder if his use of the rather rude term "that woman" seems to imply that he doesn't like Ai very much, maybe because Nagisa's staying with her rather than his father and stepmother.
