I don't mind incest between siblings or cousins, but doing it with your mom or dad... I don't know, it's like a sacrilege.

The whole anthology is already translated, I think officially. I think a lot of the contributors treated the theme as a writing prompt to see how outside their normal comfort zone as possible (or at least that's why I'm telling myself about the Ayu Inui story, which is both a huge bummer and very different from anything else I've read by her). This one feels like one of those stories as well.

ah, I don't have any siblings which is probably why I don't get bothered with sibling stuff but my mom is very clingy and close to me so this just makes me a tiny bit uncomfortable

That would present a problem to an author writing a story intended for a "Mother x Daughter" anthology.
