Makes me wonder if anyone has done it so the megane-with-braids gets a makeover to turn into...a megane-with-braids, but drawn more attractively.
I really want to see this now...
I want to see this as well. I actually think i might have seen it somewhere already, maybe, but no clue where or what exactly. The problem in general as that they are drawn plain overall which brings a little stigma.
You know, i think i've developed a liking for age gap with reverse height gap stories. Anyone got some good recommendations (like this one with fluff and cuteness. no melodrama though.)
This... this was cool. You can see the limitations that occurred due to it only being a one shot of limited pages but if this was serialized, the potential is enormous (especially for the villainess and heroine to eventually be together).
I do like that the first 2 pages were red herring bait before the twist.
the first one was good, the second one was better and the last one was awesome but just lacking a yuri ending.
3 was good but doesnt really belong in a yuri anthology and 4.... 4 was going so well up until the super lazy and half-assed het ending that really came out of nowhere story wise.
on the characters: hnnngh, Ultear is so gap moe and Rumia was adorable as well in spreading the divine cuteness of her favorite villainess.
On the story as a whole: 5/10. 5 points for the cute pairing but loses 5 points for going the lazy het ending (and it was lazy, no doubt, with the 'surprise 2nd prince appears for first time madly in love')
i see the trend of some reading way too much into things is still alive and well, orz.
I found it to be cute and adorable which was not what i expected going into this. I think it works because it's a oneshot but if it was a series with this ending, i probably wouldnt read it because the bait feel would be high.
Not only is this great art style but i love Maid x Mistress stuff, especially when the maid is kind of a power bottom guiding and controlling things within the boundaries of being a maid.
+1 to the commenters above. It's almost become like a meme of it's own that there's more adult development in fanart than there everh as or will be in the actual series. Citrus is like a raunchy controversial series but with almost all the raunchiness and controversy just cut out so that you only get half chunks of story.
