What the author says here makes it seem like the characters' relationships are going to go at a steady pace. However, I'm curious how many actual yuri relationships will develop by the end of this series.

I would really love to see them progress in their yuri relationships later on, not pressuring the pace because it's really fun and enjoyable as it is.. but gay as i am, i can't shake away the curiosity on how they would end up.

Nah i don't think so she was so unsure of what to do most likely she would have just brushed it aside, also that comment about two girls being weird together wouldn't help Rei's chances.
