You know, I don't feel traumatized like the most here (is something wrong with me? lol) but I feel deeply sad for both characters. It really shows how a toxic relationship won't let you grow, won't let you to fly.
I have a question, cutting her wings was with consent or not??
I'm not sure because Angela said “I don't know” about flying away and I'm sure that she could stop the other girl if she wants to, I'm sure the other girl wouldn't kill her or something like that.

At least the impression I got was she consented to the whole obviously agonising procedure willingly enough - "if that's your wish so be it" sort of thing I guess. Next chapter will presumably clarify the matter.
...kind of makes you wonder if all this isn't some kind of test of character for the MC.
Well, I guess this is why the whole thing has had this feeling of dread going through it since the start...
I felt down the entire time I've been reading, this shit is such a bummer but fuck it's really well done. Chapter 2 has that same vibe going for it as that song Gehenna
That's the most depressing transition in the story for me, because it implies she'll never grow her wings back.
I noticed that and kinda thought the same thing. That's sad, but honestly it seems like they'll be happy regardless. I love the way this story paints relationships. People make mistakes and their partner may suffer, but that doesn't mean the relationship can't be mended. And sometimes staying with someone means making sacrifices. This story has a lot to say considering how little is actually said.
