Oh, I don’t even think it’s usually consciously manipulative—just that kid who gets gobsmacked by circumstances and the waterworks come on . . .

This has to be one of my favourite series - it's got a really nice balance of cuteness, innocence and tenderness with just the right amount of comedic moments.

How the hell did Suzu's glasses get out by the gate? I mean that makes no sense. Even if she walked out there, then took them off, and put them down for some reason, then forgot to put them back on. She should have realised something was wrong when she had trouble seeing while going back inside.
