Not at all, I can totally see that happening. But without saying too much, next chapter's going to have a Kohane x ?? ship that's one for the ages.

I agree! I read it back when it started, but quickly got tired of it.

Yet somehow it's getting animated and not Swap⇔Swap, which runs right next to it. And is longer-running and better established.

Anyone watching the anime? In episode 3, this girl who is a schoolmate of the MCs comes to them for help: she's in love with her private tutor, who is a woman, and wants the Cheer Club to cheer her on so that she'll have the courage to confess.

Spoiler: they do encourage her, she confesses her love, and the lady tutor says she likes her too and accepts to go out with her. ♥

What ever happened to the translation?
Also, does Kote-chan ever get a pair? Given her friend dates her tutor (will we ever see this tutor?)

Kohane, who's been after Hizume all this time and has gotten nothing but rebuffs from her, seems to be with another girl now. Hizume's reaction:
