This chapter resonates so much with me... I truly am in love with this manga. The characters feel so real

Gosh this series is just so beautiful to look at and so heartwarming. This chapter in particular made me feel all warm and want to go hug my parents. Makes me think of how I was when I was a kid compared to now. I kind of have the opposite problem as the black haired girls, I was such a perfect, grade A student, a kid who never slacked off or procrastinated, someone who always put their whole effort no matter what it was, pottery, playing, studying... how did I grow up to be such a failure and a disappointment?

Damn didn't expect to see from the perspective of the parents. Actually kind of relatable when you think about how you used to be as a kid compared to now.

this is probably the cutest thing I've ever read. the two main characters are awkward turtles which i relate v strongly with. i don't even mind that much that like the subtext is tearing me apart, it heals my soul soooo much to see something this wholesome.

This chapter was a quintessence of everything I love about this series. And as much as I would like these two aborable folks to get together, I'll still hold this manga close to my heart even if it'll stay as a subtext. Of course if things won't get more messed up like the author suddenly introducing a male love interest or unecessary love triangle, but I believe that Hagino-sensei won't dissapoint me in this way.

Besides I'm not quite sure as my Japanese skills are not so great (as well as English so please forgive me), but I've seen that the author tweeted lately that Hanigare was nominated to be animated and there's a voting for it, am I right? If so it would be great if we got an anime adaptation in the future. I wonder what kind of studio would be the most suiting for this manga.

Ohh that's awesome, thanks for confirmation. I'm pretty sure that Komi-san, To You the Immortal or Yotsubato will win anyways. Wouldn't mind it, those series are great too.

It's not like getting first place guarantees you get an anime anyway, it's more like a popularity poll for anime producers to look at. Last year the highest-ranked picks that got anime adaptations ranked 8th and 9th (Yagate Kimi ni Naru and The Promised Neverland IIRC).

A lot of other great choices there as well, yes... But this being my current number two favorite manga after Yagate Kimi ni Naru, which I voted for the last time, I just had to go with this. Let's hope my luck is just as strong this year, then.

I really like this manga but I had to vote for Virgin's Empire, sorry :,v but Nettaigyo has higher chances anyways

I really hope some yuri manga will get animated like a kiss and a white lily or virgin's empire or this. we had luck last year I hope we will this year too(I voted for Hanigare btw)

I know I'm super late on that, but thank you! I also like your avatar with best girls Olivia. And yeah it would be really nice if we get an anime adaptation of A Kiss And A White Lily especially since it ended recently...
