@BugDevil no offense but you're not a girl are you? Legit the only people I've seen criticize the show so far are men so I'm saying a generalization based on my own experiences. And I'm actually actively looking for She-Ra stuff on a constant basis, so I think I know more about what people who watch the show are saying. And pretty much every girl/woman/LGBT person I've talked to have said they love the designs and that's who they're aiming towards in the first place. No offense but this show isn't for you and just because it doesn't pander to what you think people are supposed to look like doesn't mean the designs are bad. I have no clue where you live, but in America, the body types shown in the show are literally the body types I see everywhere and I live in the capital city of my state.

No offense, but my gender is irrelevant to the topic. As should be pretty much any reviewer's, but I guess that's too open minded. So yeah, I was basing my (clearly exaggerated) statement on my experiences as well. I knew there are people who like it. But I won't ignore and stamp off people who dislike it either.
No offense but just because a couple of people like the designs doesn't mean they are beyond critique.
No offense x 3, but America isn't the only country or culture in the world. I don't remember, but was it She-Ra, princess of America? lol
No offense x 4, but isn't the target audience supposed to be children? I know a lot of children (working part time at a day care center sometimes) and to nobody's surprise they want to watch pretty much any cartoon on TV. Children are kinda notorious for that. They enjoyed stuff like Winx Club with their ridiculous Barbie doll body types just as much as some exaggerated designs in Fairly Oddparents.
In the end you just talked to some people with the same mindset as you about what they want for their children, rather than actually thinking critically about the content itself. But hey, that might just be a misunderstanding. We wouldn't wanna generalize everyone who disagrees with us, right?

^ It hasn't been often, but it has been sweet. The picture at the amusement park with the bear mascot, Yoshida coming to help when Mako was crying (over a manga), the last chapter where Yoshida compliments Mako's cooking and Mako blushes. They're just so sweet together and innocent at the core that it's easy to ship them.
