I don't understand why being popular = being a slut. It's okay to want to be popular too, but it really bothers me when people get so envious that they start trying to make others look bad.
And what's with all the "blaming the person object of others affection"? I've seen something like this in a Japanese movie before:
Girl "A" liked guy "G", who liked his childhood friend "B", who didn't like him back, but was close to him (because they were childhood friends). Then the girl "A" got mad at girl "B", like "B" was playing the guy, like she couldn't be friends with him anymore just because he fell for her.
If person A falls for person B, that's A's problem. B has nothing to do with it (unless B wants to).
