miyoko reading Killing me! manga and calling saki chan an idiot made me actually cackle XD i cant, this bonus chapter was great! had me smiling the whole time

Now a fated childhood meeting, between Saki and Miyoko. Okay I admit I like seeing the old tired romantic clichés work for the power of yuri. Bring on volume 2.

Also happy to see some guest artists. For some reasons, there's really something about the original art that makes it stand out compared to the guest ones (except the fact that it is the original). I love each and every artist though and would've said the same thing if they're the author of this series.

after all these chapters and i still don't know why Saki is so obsessed with killing Miyoko. it's like she isn't doing anything wrong (well except for drinking blood from people) and i'm sure there are a lot of other bad vampires that needs to be killed instead of her. maybe it was just cut in the story that she hunts other vampires too ? maybe we could see in the future chapters some vampire villain pops up somewhere and the two of them try to cooperate in killing him idk.

It's not cut, get your eyes checked and an examination for your brain. Saki is clearly depicted killing a vampire and states that she moves around towns just to kill vampires.

Though I have to wonder how it would become possible for them to get together? Because as I see it Saki will keep aging while Miyoko remains forever youthful, or something happens that allows for either Miyoko to age along with Saki... or Saki becomes a vampire just like Miyoko.
Miyoko didnt use to always be a vampire, so there is a way

This manga is giving me vampire knight-esque nostalgic feelings. I know its het shit but it was still a huge part of my life when I was like 15.
Although this is miles and miles better and more enjoyable

There is no untranslated chapter. It is weird cancellation.

It's unfortunate. It was fun little series and pretty unique as well.

Maybe the author said something questionable in twitter 5 or 10 years ago and that was the cause (?)
Well, jokes aside... It really sucks! I can't believe they would just cut it like that, not even a chance to make a proper ending (say 3 or 4 more chapters)

Not that weird, sadly. It joins the very long list of quirky yuri series that featured something beyond blushing schoolgirls and got axed for its trouble.

It wasn't axed. In that print the magazine makes it clear it was the author's decision to end the manga. The author herself apologizes below. So it has nothing to do with sales or reception. I think the manga was actually well received.

Now why the author choose to cancel it, we might never know.
