Imo false hopes are worse than no hope at all. Better for her to tell MC straight up so that MC can start looking for someone else instead of clinging onto her with a broken heart.

it's super good and sad, right to my fav list

She just got too hyped up, she expected too much, lol

Crap, I liked the unrequited love, because that's my life entirely and it's somehow comforting to read about it.
But the ending... is sad. I hope she finds someone in the future who appreciates her, because someday this will not be enough and it just hurts to ride on false hopes.
