M. Night Shyamalan would say that's a tad excessive with the dumb twists at this point.

She never talked to any dead people. She imagined all of it. Her crush acted "off" as she noted, because it was neither her nor her ghost, only wishful thinking.

Damn that's heavy... so does that mean her ghost harem is just a bunch of girls she had a crush on and it keeps growing because she gets bored of them? Or is she just really delusional? Pretty good oneshot. As much as I would like for this to be expanded on, being open-ended is part of the charm

I'm not really sure what to think of this, but it was interesting, at the very least. And it got me to re-read a few of the author's works, which gave me a better appreciation for Mille-Feuille - that story's pretty cute.

I thought it could be a take on schizophrenia as well. The ending is ambiguous because the other students don't seem to acknowledge Isoya's presence to confirm she's fine.

So was the whole murder her fantasy? What about Isoya's absence? What about the ghosts? (Her room had no one else in it when "Isoya" visited her.) Are only the ghosts fantasies? Did she kill other people as well if the murder was real?

Usually only the continuation of a story is left for people to imagine. In this case maybe what we read as well.

EDIT: On the other hand, something that supports the whole thing not being real from the start is how she speaks to the ghosts in class, with a complete lack of awareness of the classmates' audible reactions. This interpretation is way easier on the mind, too.

I almost started to not like it when she said she killed her, because of how lowkey unnecessarly predictable and edgy it seemed, but the fact that the mangaka managed to turn it into something lowkey lighthearted with just one final page shook me - turning the MC into a simple girl with an innocent crush and alot of imagination. Gotta say it was a great read, one that executes the "and it was all a dream!" twist perfectly.

What a twist plot, it's been a while since I saw a work like this , gotta see this author's works again
