It's absolutely mad but very clever. A lot of the jokes are in the writing and not some punchline. The 3 panels leading to a punchline plagues so many of thse 4koma.
Reread the first chapter. Shouting 'heave, ho!' while removing her undergarments had me laughing.

Yeah, the fact that there's nearly always three or four jokes in every strip is what really creates the sense of speed and high energy that makes this series so great.

Also the teacher is the best. I have a feeling that if they told her what was going on with all the demons and demon hunters, she still wouldn't care.

I think the teacher already knows. She probably saw them doing this and that and something else somewhere but couldn't be bothered doing anything about it.

What happened to the vet is unfortunately true, heck I even heard of a vet that commited suicide because "animal activists" and the usual vegan wackos just won't STOP dropping lost animals at his office EVEN if he didn't have the resources to maintain them. His breaking point is when he saw a traffic accident where he saw those psycho wackjobs saving the life of a cat OVER a little girl,

So yeah, the vet's tale is PERFECTLY possible :(

This is so brilliant. The first time I read the first chapter I wasn't sure about this series, reread it and it's just as funny as the later chapters so I feel dumb in hindsight.
