I bet on everything, that Pure is actually just a stalker. The author twists the beginning as if the amores are meeting back in the past to give it a fluff here and there, due to Akira's request. However, here's the catch. PURE ISN'T REAL, EVERYTHING IS A DREAM OR PSYCHOLOGICAL STORY! Akira likes games, she probably conjured up Pure since like she claims, has no friends. For god's sake this story could even be based off by Akira being in coma.

I think the part of Japan still does not accepting same sex marriage to be the only possible part.

Line works and with good enough updated could be used for another 10 years let alone 7.
And ya Japan hates gays kinda weird considering they are currently over populated seems like a no brainer :p (only half serious basically telling the same sex couples to go to a different country also gets 2 or more people out but who knows if they even thought of that)

Yeah, if you want someone to believe you're their lover from the future, you'd know stuff like that about their life, right?
There's 0 credibility to her now.
Not sure if bad writing or this loophole will be noticed later by the MC.

Or, maybe she wanted to be her lover in the future, couldn't do so because [reasons], and so she went back to the past to try and change the future so they end up together. That bit at the end of this chapter definitely suggests something like that is possible.

Could easily be explained that in the future Akira and her father make up and she just never bothered to tell the story. Pure also didn't seem so surprised about Akira's mother or her wish to be a teacher.
