yay, more kodama naoko! i was just wishing for more while rereading cocytus.
pathetic peanuts, failing at even quite realistic idol dreams, clearly requited feelings that are yet to be recognized, there's a lot of weird moe in this one.

Honestly, I agree, but my expectations fell so low when I saw who the author was, I actually ended up feeling pleasantly surprised that the story and characters were only mildly unlikable, and even had some aspects to them I kind of enjoyed. It sounds like an insult (and I guess it basically is) but at this point, if I can come out of a Kodama Naoko story feeling ambivalent and unimpressed, I'll happily count it as a win.

Highlight for me was the authors note at the end. I always enjoy reading what the creator(s) have to say.

Honestly the consistency is impressive.

Also, nowadays it's Koharu who would be cut from the group for being too talented. Or at least pushed off to the side in favor of someone attractive but tone-deaf.

That was a fun read, and the perfect balance of sweetness and peanut flavored teasing.

Yeah, that was neat! I went back and re-read everything in the collection after that and it was really nice to see how she felt about each one-shot. Good shit, even though I do like her more flawed protagonists in other stuff best.

Heyy! I know I do from time to time sometimes you're sick of the good girls. Fuck'em, I'll a bitch any day because they're interesting and you have to appeal to them/make an impression before you get anywhere with them.

I would've liked it more were it not for that because it reminds of the series which is dragging on and it's gonna end sucky 'cause they won't talk.
Hotaru is more than a little bitch and she Freakin knows (that her friend has the hots for her I'm sure) and she's just acting like a good friend. I wish she would be her bad personality all the time just to have some sort of constancy. Gosh dang! Netzaou trap is a mixed bag for me. (I'm bad with names.)
