Was I the only person who approached this as a comedy?
No, I also got a very whimsical, shonen-esque vibe from the story. The absurdity of Sourin's behavior was definitely played for humor.
I agree with the other assessments here: it felt like the author was missing a lot of steps in the plot and just rushing to the sex. Very porn-y.
Which is a shame, because the story has a lot of yuri elements and tropes I enjoy, but they aren't as put together as I'd have liked.
