I liked it, of course, but I had been left with the impression from the earlier comic that Mari was a white-collar worker. Remember how flustered Arisa was because Mari was wearing a business suit? Not the kind of thing you wear to a welding job.

I took it that she has a job making custom equipment. She most likely is then in charge of dealing with the clients and selling the products that the team made themselves.

It REALLY depends, my dad made $15hr for 16 years, until he got laid off and went independant. He makes a fair bit more now, but to my knowledge you have to get more into the specialized welding like underwater. Now THAT gets the big bucks.

Yeah specialized welders are payed quite well. And they are rare (depending on the country). I read about a case where a US city had to hire welder from Germany because they couldn't find anybody specialized for a specific task in the USA:

Personally, the things that kind of annoy me in that manga is the whole "I'm amnesic, I forgot how to kiss !" or "You're the one who usually start us off, so I'm absolutely incapable of initiating sex on my own." -.-

Well if you're not worried about accidentally blowing up the person you love, sure. Incorrect fuel mixture is a huge concern when kissing someone.

It's not really that she forgot how. She's just really shy about that stuff. It's kind of shown in a later chapter that she became a lot more aggressive after meeting her girlfriend, and having forgot that experience, it's taking a while for her to get over her shyness and get back there.
