Man, I loved this. All of it. Just read it for the first time, and it was amazing. Straight into my favorites list, and I will definitely re-read it again in the future. Just so sweet and fluffy and cute and romantic.

The only thing, though: It's cute that Yamada is so naive and all, but sometimes she comes across as a complete sexual blank who has never once thought about sex at all prior to hooking up with Kase-san, and it can be a little jarring. But I still loved the series and hope there will be more in the future.

Also: I kept hearing Kase-san's name in this guy's voice:

Why don't they call each other by their first names? Yamada's first name is Yui, and while we don't know Kase-san's first name (I don't think), we know that Kase is her last name because it's on her house when Yamada goes to visit her.

In fact, everybody calls them by their last names, including Yamada's friend and all of their classmates. The only person we see calling Yamada by her first name is her mother.

I notice that the guys in the manga tend to be drawn with what I assume are hiragana characters for their eyes and nose. What's the significance of that? I assume it's a joke I'm not getting because I can't read hiragana.

Often used for scarecrows and teru teru bozu and basically just looks like something a kid drew. Seems to be used as an indication of how plain males are compared to the hotness that is Kase.
Fun fact: The guys from the pool chapter are retconned to have henohenomoheji faces in the tank version.

Maybe we can root for a Mikawa x Inoue ending?

I have always.. felt that Yamada san is really amazing.
She is timid but her selfless attitude is what attracts me so much.. I love this character more and more.

The timeskip is from like Feb - April? Two to three months roughly? Not too much time then actually?

Basically that last line is now more along the lines of "That's the feeling that I had."

Unless it turns out Takashima is actually trolling us and reveals in the second half that it's all a dream and Yamada actually failed miserably, but that seems rather unlikely.
