maybe I'm the only one who thinks that this is not yet the birthday chapter but the aftermath of the birthday chapter Yuzu's birthday was on aug 8 but this is dated aug 14 but they said that on yuzu's birthday after having her birthday party with Harumi she'll be home and that's when Mei gonna give her the gift, so maybe there's an extra chapter detailing about what happened on her birthday.

this is the author's problem she wants Mei to be so complicated and hard to understand that she herself the creator gets confused or doesn't know her own creation. lol. If you read shoujo manga this is the typical "suddenly the MC/ML becomes so dumb for the sake of the story."

note: also what's we the SA/r*pe comments are we reading the same story? coz you're making it sound like a "fact" that this event happened when it's not.

Yup, I agree that Yuzu deserves something much better in this situation and that Mei is kinda frustrating like always... but then again that's what I only think Yuzu deserves, in the end, Yuzu is happy and wants no one else but Mei and be with Mei.

Gotta respect Yuzu's patience or anyone who can be in this kind of relationship, she really does love Mei unconditionally, she really did try to understand Mei and accept her and everything about her. She knows that Mei has a hard time expressing herself. (I even think the author doesn't even understand Mei, her own character lol just my guess.)

I guess like any other relationship you gotta give a lot of effort for this kind of relationship to work, it just it happened that most of the reader can see that it was Yuzu that's giving more effort in the relationship but that doesn't mean their relationship is one-sided or that Mei doesn't love Yuzu. it just they express it differently.

No one loves anyone any less as long as both of them accept and understand each other and that they both work together for their relationship to last.

P.S I think those who are wondering where the first chapter Mei She's still there probably just hiding (that part of her) since she said she wants a fresh start and take things right this time (coz all she did back then just confuse or hurt Yuzu) it's not like Mei doesn't know or forget about what is sex (they even previously watch 20mins scene of that in the last movie they watch and even admit to matsuri she does want to touch Yuzu) it just it's not her priority (frustrating right lol)

I kinda see why the hate is so strong, it was because Mei "decide" "chose" after waiting for years and years to see her make her own choice, finally make a decision to what? to give up Yuzu? (remember people can't always see the bigger picture here) let's not even talk about the marriage I was really shocked by her decision it's not the character development that I was expecting for but I kinda see it coming but not this bad though, and some people really felt betrayed with that, It made them question does she really loves Yuzu?(of course haha) but now you want to see proof of it. If the chapter purpose is to upset people for them to be able to feel what yuzu feel. I think this hate isn't out of nowhere. you know like they say people are mostly angry because they are in pain, hurting or sad, and it's only a natural reaction to get mad at bullshit the happens to you. Especially to some which I think was so emotionally invested with the story even if they won't admit it.

so mei was crying last chapter not just because she was hurting but because she finally decided she's gonna leave her and saying her goodbyes deep inside.

I want Yuzu to be happy but I got a feeling she will only be happy at the Final chapter which sucks to be honest, she deserves more than that, and let her actually live in it.

Edit: Also it will be a very disappointing ending if in the end yuzu has to chase after mei again, she's been doing that since chapter one. Give the girl a break and actually make her feel she's actually loved.

I think she feels that she let Saki down somehow in the past and now she can't face her. She is her big sister and she suppose to protect but I get the feeling something went wrong that Teru feels responsible for
