That was super sweet :) The art was fantastic as always - great characters and you don't often get such well drawn backgrounds.

I wonder if this is meant to be the same world as the other animal ears works (legally married etc) just some small remote village?

Itou Hachi's always been great, and I feel like all the titles that isn't My Little Sister is an Angel is meant to be in the same world. I like that contiguity.

If Nakatani's has been just as long as Hachi's, I think there wouldn't have been much competition.

Itou Hachi is a master of sugary sweetness. Always a little same-y, but they make up for it by just being a joy to read/look at.
