The money or time part may have more of an effect, but the first part can safely be ignored.

New chapter, yay ! At least they were "only" playing on the table when time resumed prematuretly. Going by what Murakami usually did, they could have been in their undies or worse. XD

omfg Murakami chill! This progess is really too much. Was Murakami someone who was not accepted before? Or did she start analyzing people for fun but it somehow got out of hand (I know some people similar to her but not too crazy as her)

Glad to have this back. I'm a total sucker for the 'high concept speculative fiction as a metaphor for adolescence' trope. I swear I've read a million stories where the protagonist has to lose magic to become an adult or find love but the conceit has yet to grow old on me. That sweet, sad loss of innocence and invulnerability just maps perfectly onto my experience of being human.

Murakami's emptiness is heartbreaking. I almost wish I were Moritani so I could reach out to her myself.

she wants everyone to like her, so she acts how people want/expect her to act. however, she has done it for so long she no longer has any sense of self. its why she made the back her flash card blank.

as for the chapter 16 that is already out, i hear that its a pretty low quality translation. but at the same time, theres no translation for chapter 16 on yuri project and my computer is dead so theres no editor either :(

/u/ is working chapter 17 though, so all thats left is chapter 0 if you dont mind a low quality ch16.

This is really good. I think I got into a preference for yuri manga because I noticed there was a lot of quality work there. It's not as good as, say, Qualia the Purple, but it's along the same lines - it makes you think. I also think of the author of Sisterism's "Balance Policy" which is all over the place. It's amazing the author of Flag Time doesn't seem to have done much of anything else, given how good they are.

By the way, good luck looking her up on amazon.co.jp, say. Just using "Sato" (さと [著] ) is useless, you get a zillion hits. You can find フラグタイム (Flag Time) though.

Honestly, I didn't expect much from this series at first. However, it definitely improved mid-way through the series. My initial instinct was to hate Murakami (and a small piece of me still does) but she's fleshing out into a person with her on feelings. I really enjoy her development. And alas, if only Moritani would realize she has more leeway/power with Murakami than she's cognizant of!
