She basically planned on longer story with zombies, but when length got shorter, she didn't know how to change zombie part to not sound out of place, so she just left it as it was.

The cooking part really killing me six ways from Sunday.

I read that, but I don't understand it as if the original zombies weren't supposed to eat clothes at all necessarily. Just that the author had doubts about explaining it now that the story became shorter. Meaning in a longer version she would have offered a better explanation why these cloth eaters were zombies.
But maybe you're right and in the first draft they were supposed to be "real" zombies.

In shorter work, there was no place to establish those cloth eating zombies well, but since she couldn't come with anything else, she just rolled with it.

Is it strange I got the same chill from this that I get from watching or reading other zombie stories? Like seriously, finding out one of the characters was a zombie made me super concerned and bummed. I know there's really nothing too bad about being a zombie in this world, but it makes me think of how the person used to be and how they got infected. What was life like before the outbreak? It's so stupid to think about these things when the main feature of being a zombie is eating panties. Anyway, this was one of the weirdest non-porn questionably-Yuri mangas that I've ever read. If I had to give it a rating, it'd simply be a Weird/10.
