Well, they did say it's a cult and the chapters are called "Rose-colored prison", so I'm guessing it's either something like "Make people so happy they never want to leave, and they stop caring about their old lives" or there's some weird drug-property to those plants in the big garden that messes with their minds and makes them want to stay.

But yeah, if you're gonna get trapped into a weird cult...might as well be a cult of cute lesbians.

I have that problem sometimes. I think the page just doesn't load properly for some reason. I usually fix it by refreshing the page or resizing the pages.

You need to click the resize button in order for it to not be pixelated. I think there's some issue with either the compression of the images when uploaded to dynasty.
