The two moms have quite a few very fun interactions in the LN, for those who never read them ;) They're always a highlight and they have even more of them in the later volumes.
Man...Awkward family dinner hosted by shimamura mom but hey atleast both MC and her waifu/future wife at eating dinner dinner and meeting with their future in-law...
Adachi's mom anti-social and awkward genes has obviously been pass down into Adachi/Sakura (Adachi's dad probably divorced or dead so no trouble for Shimamura's mom in snagging her lol)
gotta respect shimamura for putting up boundaries. i am scunnered with yuri pulling the "jealousy is a natural part of being in a relationship and should be indulged"
What a great chapter. Makes me want to get back to the novels (which I actually dropped at vol 10, I think, so somewhere around here lol). The classroom staring is so sweet and I like how Shimamura handled things with Adachi in regards to Tarumi. Shimamura chapters are such a treat.
Finally Shimamura revealed their relationship to Tarumi, I hope this confrontation will make things clear (I decided to follow the manga instead of reading the LN). Also nice that she is dealing with Adachi's jealousy in a very reasonable way.
I always felt pretty bad for Tarumi, she's a good person and she does genuinely love Shimamura a ton, but she's up against impossible odds from the start . Oh well, at least Shimamura did tell her in the end, she'll have a chance to move on.
Love to see shimamura slowly doing her best at figuring out what their relationship means and what she wants from it!! I do think we could’ve gotten a little more out of christmas chapters before moving on tho :p
