What I mean with forced is that it’s quite funny that for no reason Nanase is not with Yuni even though both are at the same festival, it feel fabricated to show how pitiful and negleted Yuni is (similar to those type of soap-opera scenarios of lovers That Are So Close But So Far) but that is something we know without this scenario, that is why I think playing more perverted is better imo

Nanase's yandere friend is probably intentionally trying to separate them too.

It's easy to forget when we are graced with 38 chapters spread out over multiple years. It's a nice one to reread since we will have more insight into the character dynamics every time.
I've read through this a couple times and started reading when there was already a lot of chapters, but that's the most memorable date for me too. Also looking forward to more Mashiro / Fuuko.
This has to be the moment when Yuni's heart shifts from Nanase to Fuuko. Nanase may love Yuni, but now definitely shows that she is completely incapable of being in a relationship. Yuni must be first before Yuki. Sure Yuki is a yandere but that should have no impact to the relaitonship. I think Nanase is also too naive to think that she will never lost Yuni to someone else again. She does not understand her girlfriend.She did not learn her lesson last time.
It baffles me that after all this, some still don't understand why Yuni feels so neglected. I really hope you people don't treat your partners this way, geez.

This is a fun half chapter but I feel so edged by it :(
we've been knee deep in the Mashiro stuff for a while it's nice to have a moment for Fuu and Yuni, but I don't wanna wait another 2 months for more of the main plot :(

I know it's for jokes but what makes this Manga actually work is that the chaos and trashy actions actually make logical sense. A Manga with bad writing would certainly do something like make Mashiro & Yuni suddenly happen to add more drama, but this story isn't like that. Nothing happens for no reason. Yuki's true nature slowly being teased out to now is a good example of this.
It's why I was worried when Mashiro was suddenly introduced multiple chapters ago. It had the chance of ruining the 4 way dynamic that we already had for cheap drama, but letting Kiyoko cook as shown that she does actually add to the story, specifically for Fuuko's character.
