Wow, Harumi is really serious about showing off her midriff, even when it's chilly outside. That's some dedication!

Question, Is Saburouta on hiatus due to illness (or other reason), or have they more or less moved on from Citrus+ because they want to focus on other projects and is trying to keep this one Alive? Either way, I'm glad to see more of Matsuri and Harumi, though.

There is no official information about this, but we do know she is not ill, only that she is swamped with work and thus she can't focus all of her time on citrus. What is what keeps her so busy is anybody's guess. It would seem that she is not a full-time mangaka, and citrus is such a huge hit that it has given her enough leverage to work at her own pace without being worried about being axed.

Anyways, about the chapter, I'm delighted to finally have a full-blown Harumatsu chapter. Inori getting so attached to Harumin after just meeting her once is adorable, and I guess Harumin is like catnip for Matsuri's family. Gonna be interesting when she finally meets her in-laws. Is interesting to see Matsuri so vulnerable when she has been mostly unflappable, and the one getting reactions from others since her debut, a clear way to show how deep her crush on Harumin is. She is obviously not happy about Harumin moving to Kyoto, but I'm sure she will either follow her there or actually talk her into staying in Tokyo with her and the other girls.

Harumin's motivation to move out of Yuzu's influence is a curious one, but I'm guessing it stems more from her unrequited crush than just fearing being too influenced by her. Whatever it is, I'm certain this particular plot will end with Harumin openly confessing everything to Yuzu to get closure and then getting together with Matsuri.

Inori is a sheltered kid who barely interacts with people outside his family and spends most of his time at home playing or drawing. Seems pretty reasonable to me that he has no idea what Kyoto is.

Other than the Yuzu reason, is it also possible that there is an extra small reason for Harumin to go to Kyoto, because she also wants to get away from Matsuri for whatveer reason it is. Remember, Harumin is greatly concerned about what will happen to Matsuri when she graduates.

It's curious that after 17 volumes we still don't know if Harumin liked or still likes Yuzu; there's a lot of debate about this. I'd say no, but it's possible. I think the reasons. Harumin's reasons for going to Kyoto seem very valid to me: to stop being Yuzu's shadow and find herself and her path. But as I've always said in this story, Harumin Matsuri Are indecipherable. I just hope this whole arc doesn't end in yet another baiting stunt by Sabu.

A follow-up to the HaruMatsu chapter from 6 years ago? Payoff for Harumin's character arc that's been teased for years? Hopefully we can get more of this, with Harumin (and Matsuri) taking the spotlight and Yuzu and Mei being in a supporting role. Or I wonder if Sabu will use Yuzu's letter to try and replicate the timeskip that happens during chapter 36 and use it to timeskip towards the last month of Aihara Academy...?

Harumin confessed to Yuzu back in the original citrus (https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/citrus_ch39) But back then she played it off as "just friends"

That's good to hear that she's healthy! It's a shame that she's been so bombarded with work. I didn't know she wasn't a full-time mangaka I always assumed she was because of how successful Citrus has been. Reading that she's not a full-time mangaka is definitely news to me. Thanks for letting me know!

Ah my bad, is not confirmed that Saburota isn't a full-time mangaka. Is just an educated guess from my part based on the comments she adds to the volume releases.
