Did not expect a happy ending.

But I'm not complaining.

oh this is wonderful. i feel like there's precious little yuri exploring what comes after the happy ending and the confession and how it takes effort and understanding to maintain a relationship long term.

Okay?

A bit of a nothing burger imo.

Nothing really happened except a couple's spat.

Their couple has issues, and nothing was solved.

Amazaki Suika got us used to toxic and sad endings in her one-shots so it's great that we get a somewhat happy ending for once, I liked this one

Really like this one! I think a lot of yuri focuses in the strugle of “I have to marry a man” or in fact have a woman that married a man as the only adult problem a lesbian will face but there are alot of stuff you can explore instead of that, this being one! Being in a relationship (same sex or not) can be very no-romantic and exhausting
I wouldn’t call it angst tbh, it’s very wholesome

The woman was this close to cheating on her girlfriend and might break up for real so I wouldn't call it nothing burger.

Loved it! I'm glad she was able to realize the things she loves about her girlfriend outweigh her frustrations, and that they were able to talk things out. Sometimes taking space helps bring things into perspective, and then afterwards communication can do wonders for any relationship.

Thanks for the translation!

That wannabe detective work makes no sense. I exclusively wear my watches on my dominant wrist.

Very nice!

Didn't doubt her for a moment, the very first page made it very clear that she was still only thinking about Rio.

Interesting, I'd never wear watches on my dominant wrist personally lol

(And I should note I'm left handed)

Most people wear their watch on their non-dominant wrist

But there's no guarantee. Not enough to confidently state someone's handedness.

Maybe so, but I don't think it's that outlandish of a guess to make lol

Well sure, but she has a good chance of being right, and if she's wrong it's a harmless guess anyway.

It’s just to show she checking out her hands. If you know, you know.

I'm left handed but have my watch on my left hand because I don't like anything on my mouse hand wrist (I'm right handed with a mouse) since it can brush against the desk and feel weird. But that just may be a me thing.

All that aside, I just assume she was making an excuse to talk about hands for flirting reasons. She was manufacturing meaning from very little. It also goes along with the theme of noticing hundreds of things about people eventually and the meaning behind it. Just like how later the main character noticed her perfect straight teeth vs her gf's snaggle tooth. You accumulate so many otherwise neutral things about people without even thinking about it until there's added feelings applied to it because of love.

Imagine if she was wrong and the main character beat her to death as punishment.

if my gf started on that I'd be like. "Why are you acting heterosexual"
because damn. that is some hallmark movie hettie behavior

Pickup artist strategy. You miss 100% of the swings you don't take.

This is always such a weird attitude to me, and it's the same thing as the people coming out to dismiss Green Yuri lately by calling it a heterosexual series.

It’s come down to people having different views on how queer relationships (should/do) operate. Because a lot of “couple conflict” exist thanks to how heterosexuality works basically.
I do not agree, like at all. but it’s not a wrong way to look at it either.

Edit: Not the best example (not even a couple conflict one) but If a lesbian/gay man act in certain ways (say, misogyny) people start saying stuff like “This is some Straight Shit behaviour” etc.

Oh I just thought “This is such a lame pick up line lol” but your interpretation is the one! Even the tittle allude to that

Don"t think you're flirting right if you're only saying things you know beyond reasonable doubt are factually correct, no offense intended (flirting is hard)
