I had never heard there was any significant Japanese communities in Canada - why there?

Not that I didn't enjoy this, but...did I miss something? I don't see how this is incest. Didn't Itsuki say that Nina was just a neighbor? I dunno, maybe I just didn't read it thoroughly enough, but I'm a little lost here.

Otherwise, great manga.

Page 19 -> "Having this kind of relationship with my niece..."

Oh, whoops. Guess I really wasn't paying enough attention. Thanks though.

Love this :o

Suppose this is only 2 parts, part 2 is online in chinese. Has some fast drama, and some short sweet sex.

Hope to see more of this mangaka in the future, love the art, don't see much from him/her around.

While I like the art as well I have a sort of sour feeling for the author. While I was searching the internet for more of their work I came across a gangbang rape doujin featuring Rikka and Dekomori from chuunibyou. Never quite forgave the author for that one.

The southern (and most populous) part of British Columbia is more or less directly opposite Japan on the opposite side of the Pacific.

[But the healthcare is pretty awesome!]

So I can quit believing the people in the USA (who know way better than the rest of us what is good for us) when they say Canada has horrible health care? Basically claiming that is since Canada gives everyone healthcare, no one can get good healthcare? Not that I believe anything they say anyway. Oops, I did it again. Must not make political comments. Must not make political comments.

This one does look promising to me. But letting her niece do that just because she doesn't want her to leave? I don't believe it. She must already have some kind of interest in the girl. (Well, she did feel really close to her when they were younger.)

Yeah, that's all nonsense. We've got a government doing all they can to damage it, but generally speaking it works pretty well. Certainly as good care as anywhere else, but without the bankruptcies.

It's likely she's just justifying her own positive reactions. You're right that she probably has an interest already.

Edit: I deleted my previous comment as being extraneous and too off topic.

Still off topic.

Nezchan, I'm curious. Did the Canadian healthcare system pay for any part of your transition? In the USA there are basically no insurance companies that will pay for anything connected with the transition, since it's a "voluntary" (yeah right) procedure.

I'd actually rather not get into that for reasons. Sorry.

But in general, healthcare does pay for doctors and specialists like endocrinologists, and in some provinces at least it pays for surgery. That part varies since healthcare is administered on a provincial level so it's not quite the same across the board. Generally though, they don't cover drugs so hormones tend to be either out of pocket or covered under private plans.

Ah, sorry for asking such an intrusive question, Nezchan. Still, you told me most of what I wanted to know. In the case of the trans-woman friend of mine whom I've mentioned before, she had a group insurance policy that did pay part of the cost of her hormones (which weren't that expensive anyway), but she had to pay for everything else out of her own pocket. Surgeries, electrolysis, trips to specialists and more. She borrowed quite a bit of money to make it happen. And I hear it's much more expensive now than when she did it.

Okay, sorry about all that; I'll get back on topic now.

2 Parts only ;-; Life is hard sometimes.

Surprised they didn't show their family's reactions. It still is comedy so I guess it would've worked out somewhat fine either way xD At first I thought 'niece' was a mistranslation, cause I thought that Yukiko was her mother's sister and not her sister. Oh well.

Wow, I'm late to this, but it was absolutely wonderful. As unrealistic as it is, I'm a huge sucker for these kinds of "childhood promise, one of them moves back years later and shocks the MC with how hot/cute/pretty she is" stories. Delicious size gap, great art, and they're so cute together...I wish there were a ton more.

Thanks Yuri-ism!

I don't think you really know what a yandere is.

A true yandere destroys anything in the path of her love. Literally. Or go to the length of "if he/she can't be mine, I'll kill them and myself just after". Yanderes are fearsome.

This one is just a tad jealous.

This really was sweet! Although as great as Canada is, I don't think they'll allow marriage between an aunt and niece...

Just took a look, and that appears to be accurate. First cousins can marry (although it's socially looked down upon) but you can't marry your niece or nephew.

...I'm pretty sure that you can't get married to your aunt. Even in Canada.

Then again, their relation is a bit confusing. Like, they briefly mention Secchan/Yukiko, but it's unclear exactly who that is. In the first chapter, the mother gets the phone call, and short girl is like, "Oh, Yukiko. Is she doing well?" But then the mother just mentions Yukiko's daughter and suddenly it's like "Nina?! Oh, I haven't seen her in so long! How is she? I bet she's still the cutest!" I feel like there wouldn't be such a pronounced difference in her interest if it was her niece vs. her sister, and it also seems odd that her sister would be her neighbour. So I'm thinking that Yukiko is either her cousin or second-cousin, and "aunt" is used in the generic sense of a female relative who's higher in the family tree, rather than the more specific western sense of your parent's sister.

Basically, in social and cultural terms, it's probably right to call them aunt and niece, whereas in genetic terms, they're probably more like distant cousins. So maybe they could get married after all! Yay?

Well, they might find another country that is less picky about that to marry properly. :3
