I just finished megami tensei 1 (nes) and the best part is when the Elf asked me "Can I have your cute girlfriend over there?"

Oh, there's a dramatic thought. Kyouko and Mami actually did have a relationship together following the original series, but when Homura rewrote the world she rewrote that as well and re-assigned Kyouko to Sayaka. I can imagine a doujin or fanfic taking advantage of that, and her prior feelings seeping through. Would be quite dramatic.

The admiral was 'sort of' addressed as a her for the first half, and 'sort of' a him for the second. They haven't explicitly given him/her a gender because they want him/her to remain a character you put yourself into. But either way Kongou is head-over-heels for the admiral, and because the show is boiling of yuri, it's not that far a stretch.

Considering Kongou mistook Ooyodo for the admiral, it's probably a 'she'.

That really depended on the subbing group since the first episodes I watched referred to the admiral as ''him'', but fair enough, I just thought there was hard evidence

@Nez Are you forgetting that they had a but of a falling out after the father incident? Things between Mami and Kyouko ended after that and Sayaka was the only one who reminded Kyouko of who she used to be. I'm not rejecting this pairing I'm just saying it's not all Homura's doing.

I was thinking of the end of the series after Madoka ascended to godhood, when it was basically those two and Homura fighting demons. They seem to be on good terms at that point, and don't have memories of the original world and thus didn't have the original disagreement.
