^ I'm no authority on Duel Terminal lore, but essentially:
There is this tribe of green-haired Wind-channellers called the Gusto (Wynn comes from that tribe and is the sister of Winda). And yes, they all have stupid, wind-themed names, Lara's is derived from some word for wind too iirc.
Anyway, plot happens, a couple of Invasions (Gishki, Evilswarm) and a mad goddess of rebirth later, and Winda dies. Much sad. Most remaining Gustos have allied with the Ritual Beasts to become Ritual Beast Tamers (this is when Lara shows up for the first time.)
Meanwhile, rummaging through the cosmic garbage dump, the Shaddoll Core comes across a bunch of dead bodies and begins puppeteering them as shadow-dolls (subtlety is dead and KONAMI killed it). This is where Winda was reincarnated as transmasc and spanish in the form or El Shaddoll Winda. (In-game, whilst this thing is on the field, each player may only attempt to special summon once per turn. Oh yeah, and it is immune to destruction by opponent's effects. It's a freaking menace.)
So the Ritual Beast Tamers (plus the Tellarknights & Nekroz) clash with the Shaddolls, getting their behinds handed to them, and you can't conclusively prove that this image did not happen as a consequence. Then the Qliphorts sweep in, put the Shaddolls into jars, which are then promptly stolen and absorbed by the Infernoids (vis supra regarding subtlety).
Plenty more plot happens, the Infernoids are defeated, Winda is freed and joins her old crew as the now legally distinct Spiritual Beast Tamers, happy end.
