"y'see my mother... is dead" sorry but that doesn't automatically make it deep
80% of the story is spent showing the two of them flirting and having honestly pretty shallow and boring interactions with each other, like they have 0% chemistry whatsoever which also makes me wonder as to why the girl is in love with the bunny girl and why the bunny girl develops feelings for her. also, you gotta somehow "hint" there is something going on in the background. for starters, when she remembers her senpai on her school days, nothing seems to be wrong with her. if she was so troubled, why nothing was happening then? if she was so in love with her "perfect" senpai, she must have at least noticed something was off, right? well, nope
and then, throughout the story in the present day nothing shows senpai has a problem with her og personality, apart from her rejecting the name Hodaka in a very light way, not like she's super traumatised about it. and then she snaps and trauma dumps and is that all supossed to make the previous stuff deep? none of what's supposed to be weighing on her seems to actually cause anything to her. appart from the bunny outfit, she seems like a perfectly functioning person, so what was even the problem?
TL;DR few pages of trauma dump at the end doesnt justify/explain a problem that was never hinted or shown at all, everything was normal throughout the story and then a problem is created and solved right at the end, which make it a bland attempt at adding depth to a basically SoL one shot
