I just hate when parental trauma leads a lesbian to become playboy-bunny-gender. Such a tragedy. /s

Anyway, Takeshima-sensei yuri reigns supreme

Shit got a whole lot heavier than I thought
Very wholesome ending though
They are totally using that bunny suit when it's "adult time"

I too have thoughts of running off to a place where I can rewrite my entire identity, so i can empathize with the older girl. It's great she has someone who loves her for who she is, and both of them are so bloody gorgeous. This was really wholesome.

A surprisingly wholesome time for something with a title like that lol.

This was surprisingly good. I am glad it went into this direction that senpai could just be herself without putting on the fake bunny persona.

When the bunny ears were on top of her folded clothes and on her head in the bath, I thought for sure there was something supernatural going on. Very confusing. Fine story once I stopped expecting it to go that direction.

She's got a clean pair for the bath, so she set the ones she was wearing aside for cleaning. She's a well prepared bunny!

So I mean, she could still wear the bunny outfit sometimes for old times' sake, right?

This anthology makes me so happy to see! Yuri Hime truly came through to bless us with these beautiful yuri stories — and continues to do so with this collection! ^_^

how can you have 60 pages and still make such a shallow one shot?

Agree to disagree, I thought it had plenty of depth myself.

this feels rather tonally scattered to me. i didn't feel like we got a lot of depth in the characters' perspectives, even when Senpai was telling her tragic backstory

It didn't feel that way to me, Hodaka showed clear visual signs of something being wrong very early on, where I instantly picked up that she was doing all of this because of something that happened. Everything she was doing was a means of expressing herself as a form of dealing with feelings she was struggling with, the shocking bunny outfit, the gambling, the smoking, so forth. Yet it all came together when she returned to the side of Kano, someone from her past that still cared about her. I thought the perspectives were well fleshed out personally, and that the story was consistent from start to finish. It's a fantastic one-shot in my opinion.

Read this over dinner. Loved both the chapter and the dinner.

Also, I'm surprised this one-shot isn't a new addition to this author's anthology.

I liked it for the same reason that some people disliked it. It's simple. It's just an identity story that "tried" to add a bit of a spin with the bunny outfit. Some bonus points for having the "I'm free! ... So what now?" thing going on with senpai.

Although I may have liked it more than I should, since I came into this story thinking it was one of those "I picked up a cat and it turned itself into a catgirl" kind of stories... just with rabbits instead of cats. So, getting some actual story was a nice surprise.

Really liked this one - it had a nice balance to it, with some "what's going on?", some drama, and a great ending

Hmmm...I enjoy it, some people might not but eh I guess everyone has different tastes I guess, agree to disagree XD

Yeah...Having a mentally unstable parent is not very good for the mental health of their children (Not the worst parent ever I seen in IRL or fiction I seen but definitely not winning any best parent awards)....being abandon or running away does Mental and 'EMOTIONAL DAMAGE' as well but at least not as abusive.

Bunny-girl senpai forced to become a 'good girl' + Good grades and etc due to her forceful mother= lots of mental stress. As soon as I saw bunny girl at start + knowing the former relationship with honor-student/ student president I instantly knew there was a stress level element being forced on former senpai.

Also Smoking and gambling is bad for you unless you are born with amazing good genes +Amazing luck...Bunny girl senpai hopefully doesn't have that much bad luck to waste all her money/any potential insurance money from mother's death (Won decent spin money but didn't stop and lost all the money spend, rookie gambler mistake). Our MC here/kouhai-chan seems to have good luck though considering she won at the gambling machine during one of their dates lol XD

Hopefully bunny-girl senpai choose her Kouhai place to freeload as her 1st ever option...I am going to assume that is the case and nothing horrible bad happen thankfully...besides becoming addictive to smoking lol~

Happy good ending for this one-shot story~

"y'see my mother... is dead" sorry but that doesn't automatically make it deep

80% of the story is spent showing the two of them flirting and having honestly pretty shallow and boring interactions with each other, like they have 0% chemistry whatsoever which also makes me wonder as to why the girl is in love with the bunny girl and why the bunny girl develops feelings for her. also, you gotta somehow "hint" there is something going on in the background. for starters, when she remembers her senpai on her school days, nothing seems to be wrong with her. if she was so troubled, why nothing was happening then? if she was so in love with her "perfect" senpai, she must have at least noticed something was off, right? well, nope

and then, throughout the story in the present day nothing shows senpai has a problem with her og personality, apart from her rejecting the name Hodaka in a very light way, not like she's super traumatised about it. and then she snaps and trauma dumps and is that all supossed to make the previous stuff deep? none of what's supposed to be weighing on her seems to actually cause anything to her. appart from the bunny outfit, she seems like a perfectly functioning person, so what was even the problem?

TL;DR few pages of trauma dump at the end doesnt justify/explain a problem that was never hinted or shown at all, everything was normal throughout the story and then a problem is created and solved right at the end, which make it a bland attempt at adding depth to a basically SoL one shot

One does not need to have their life destroyed to be traumatized by something.

...and yeah, Hodaka kept the bunny outfit. It's getting used again. Or maybe not; maybe that bunny outfit has too much sentimental value now to risk damaging it.

Awww. I was vaguely worried she'd suicide at the end...
