I believe that, secretly, there has ALWAYS been continuity? This thread has a bunch of notices of little background details and sometimes even primary elements (such as the convertible car) which persist through later episodes.

It's just that, in between pages, one way or another after a bit of this and that, things go back to normal... mostly.
