Two translation oddities,

What was translated as "piercing" I'm guessing was "ピアス", which in that context means "earring". And what was translated as "partner" towards the end of the chapter I'm guessing was "相手", which in that context would be more "the other party", since "partner" is such a loaded term in English. Of course, you wouldn't translate it that way — since there's not really a direct term to use in replacement, you would probably just say "she" in italics or similar to convey the same meaning. I.e. "It looks like she's in the same boat".

This is all guessing based on context, so my understanding of the original Japanese could of course be wrong. The translation seems pretty good on the whole.

hahaha i love ao's self introduction. nice break from the "cool beauty" >.>; hahaha and her sister totally knowing from long ago that she was gay is pretty awesome as well. and having both attracted to each other from the start is also awesome. usually it's one for the other but you don't really know what the other thinks til the end, just tiny suble hints along the way. these girls just dove right in XD i love it

Anyone else kind of feeling refreshed that it’s not a gay revelations story mulling over if they like someone of the same sex, rather just two girls aware of who they like but just being plain old useless lesbians. I don’t know if it’s just me but the fact they didn’t make a big deal was actually nice for once. I really looking forward to what’s to come and the other characters to introduced

They both seem to know they are in love/falling - the the gyaru maybe is still denying it, it seems she knows- it does indeed make a nice change to angst and leave the realisations to the end.

I was really taken by suprise by Ao's introduction lol- Im glad it wasnt a gyaru X school president type, but instead a dojiko who just looks like a cool beauty :)

That said, the gyaru is also mostly a fake - its just an appearance mainly, that doesn't match who she is inside, just like Ao.

It seems it will be a lot of fun seeing these 2 useless lesbians hooking up :)

So are we gonna get 5 couples who all stop just short of hooking up?

I hope at least in the last 'more than friends' chapter we at least see some more of them..

Yeah but unless I am hopefully wrong on this, it also says that this is only one volume of 6 chapters where each couple gets one chapter? so unless there's another volume of this, this will be the last we see of this adorkable couple outside of cameos.

@myrrhmidon I was refering to the last section of THIS volume, named 'more than friends' - if its about 30-40 pages like the other sections, and it covers all 5 couples, we can get 5-7 or so pages per couple right? showing them after they became couples- thats all i was hoping for.

Still- id much rather it was all about the first couple- it must be a lot of work to make so many characters- and then we dont get to delve into them or their stories to any great depth- not sure why authors think thats a better idea.. at least myself I'd always rather they focus on developing less characters more.

Ah okay. But still, unless there will be another volume, then we still won't get much from this couple and from the other couples as well. Still feels short. I agree that we could have gotten a full series with just the first couple.

Oof, I hate the self-satisfied childhood friend trope. I hoped she would just show up the one time, but she's going to be the one moving the plot along, it seems.
