Dammit guys we had one rule about Kanna

ONE RULE

To be completely fair, it was broken by the DVD specials as well.

Then again, this was a little too much.

These characters were sexualized in the official material long before the specials:

Even if some people (obviously not all) doing the "don't lewd the loli" (what a contradictory phrase; "loli" is an inherently sexual term, it doesn't mean "anime little girl" it means "lolita complex") are joking they're still enabling the people who are serious.

People freaking out over this, please stop being delusional. This is an otaku manga made by someone with a loli fetish. He's faved sexual Kanna art on Twitter. THE CREATOR ENCOURAGES THIS. If you want a pure non-sexualized little girl character read Yotsuba or watch Isao Takahata's 70s slice of life children's anime like Heidi and Anne. There is no "purity" in this pairing, it was always sexual.

Weird. I sure the creator's fetish was for huge breasted girls doing it with young boys.

This is why they have the "private" option for bookmarks and the people you follow, I don't want anyone knowing that I like ice cream hentai. I can't believe he didn't use it... I'm checking the pixiv, you can find futa too between all the bookmarks but mostly huge tits.

Not to be rude but maybe he just doesn't care if people know? I don't lurk on pixiv so idk. Just a guess based on almost nothing.

You bet there already is both. The series itself has Lucoa and Shouta. I'm assuming there's some porn of them already.

"Loli" doesn't mean "lolita complex", "lolicon" does (though it's also now used to refer to a style of art that appeals to lolicons). You're right that "loli" doesn't mean "anime little girl"; it just means "little girl" and that's it (including real, anime, or whatever else, sexualised or not).

That's the origin, but loli doesn't really have the same implications that lolita does. Loan words rarely have the same meaning as the word in the original language, especially in Japan.

True, but still the lolicon is just as shortcut for word lolita complex which they adapted with original meaning of a person that is into little girls aka lolitas. Sure now they probably have different connotation with word loli, but it is still a shortcut of world lolita. And for the most part it still works with original meaning, as a kind of girl someone with lolita complex would aim for.

Now if this was Kobayashi and Toru, I'd be fine with it. Even a fluffy story with Kanna, I can get behind. But I don't want to see Kanna like this...

Depends. If a viewer is coming from the anime and hasn't read any of the manga (which sounds like a fair number of commenters here), then it's easy to see them objecting to this. Kobayashi had far less creative control in the former, which in turn is far less overt in its sexual content than the source material.

Having seen both, I much prefer non-sexual Kanna x Saikawa to a sexual one. But lolicons gonna lolicon.

Out of curiosity, then, why did you even click on that link ? I mean, as somebody else mentioned already, the tags were in no way confusing. There was the pairing, which made it obvious it was about those two, lolicon which would warn anybody not knowing either the manga or anime that the girls would be lolis, then lots of sex which made obvious that the plot would be crying in a corner all alone while the girls would get naughty for pretty much every page aside from the blank ones. Finally, with the bath and toys tags thrown in the mix, you even knew before clicking where and how they'd get all naughty.

Frankly, with all those tags, I don't see how one can click that link thinking it'd be about the girls playing monopoly while enjoying a cup of tea.

Oh, and I quote you, but that was not directed at just you, but at all those who came here knowing already that they hated this kind of work. I mean, you can just stay the heck away from it if it does offend you. I know that I do when I see some tags that I know I'll dislike. And even if I do check it out thinking it might not be that bad and end up pleasantly surprised... Well, if I'm wrong, I blame myself rather than posting to tell people how they shouldn't enjoy what they like and getting all angry at everybody who did and/or the place hosting it.

Also, don't worry, no actual people were hurt in the making of that doujin. Well... Unless, of course, the author stubbed their toe or cut their finger in the process, but I'm sure we can all get over it.

Except the anime, while toning down the sexualization in general, STILL sexualized her. They not only kept in the part where Saikawa gets a glance at her crotch they even added an extra butt-in-face scene that wasn't in the manga. It was clearly portrayed as SEXUAL attraction even if it didn't have as much fanservice surrounding it.

I get tired of reading this. Not because it's wrong, but because it shouldn't need repeating all the time.

I wouldn't say that loli by definition means lolita-complex, because there's also the element of moe within loli characters, which in my understanding of the term comes from the desire of the reader to protect the character and wanting them to succeed in their endeavors. But this is kinda hot in all the wrong ways while also being hilariously controversial, shame though SJWs want to ban everything that sparks controversy.
