Oh my goodness gracious the "older than she looks" exaggeration got even more exaggerated.

Now, that's a name I've not heard in a long time. Since the pandemic, in fact....

No complains about the story. I just wish the tag older than she looks tag was for women who look older than their age instead of the other way around

The problem is in English "older than she looks" can only refer to women whose age is higher than what you would guess based on their appearance. There's no ambiguity, you are just reading it wrong.

You can check out the "younger than she looks" tag to see stories about women who look older than their age.

Oh my bad, thanks you!
I went to the other tag and I can't explain my disappointment. In this tag the difference in appearance-age is obvious, in the other one is null (except Dear Lass)
end of the off-topic.

Are there actually adults like this in real life? That don't know how pregnancies work? I've seen it enough times in manga that I know it's a trope of innocence, but it's absolutely ridiculous.

Is this the official version? I remember reading this before, but it was like a rough sketch.

Sadly, yes. Between Mormon "soaking", and other horror stories from OBGYN offices I've heard from my wife and other family who are in the medical field. It's far too common in the US than it ever should be.

Also, in some countries where menstruation is considered taboo, some young girls tragically take their own lives because they mistakenly believe that getting their period means they have lost their innocence or become pregnant. There are countless articles documenting cases of young girls taking their own lives due to the lack of proper education on this topic. many education systems around the world fail to prioritize women’s health, often glossing over or inadequately covering these topics during sex education.

Young girls I understand, but both of the characters in this manga are supposed to be adults. Also, both of those posts are horrifying. When I was in elementary school they played us puberty videos for both girls and boys so we learned the basics early.

Outside of extreme/cultural/sad circumstances, no. People are ignorant about various parts of pregnancy, but they know at least how it happens. As you said it’s a trope, only her appearance is supposed to be childish, so not knowing things she should at her age is the joke.

Right, I might have gone a bit off point there. But you're right it truly is horrifying and unfortunate.
