I too thought recording their first kiss was... surprising? Will Komichi post it like the video from Ch 71 or just save it for posterity? Not sure but I bet it becomes a future plot point.

My guess is even if she posts it that you can't exactly tell what happens because they're angled such that you can only see the back of Komichi's head, but yeah, also curious what will happen with that.

Hiro did it again, skipped right past the festival like with the sports one. I guess we'll see flashbacks for a while. My guess is that Erika couldn't convince her father quite yet and has gone to do so.

Very interesting theory ! I think you might be right on the money. It's kinda cute seeing Komichi gain a following at the school, the girl definitely has star quality and not just because she happens to be the protagonist :P I've said it before, but she's going to be breaking a LOT of hearts in high school. Erika too, FWIW.

There was also all the hubbub about Komichi wanting to show her family the sides of her they didn't know about at the festival so I want to see how that went too. Mom and Kao must already know about her and Erika in this chapter.

Interesting direction but yeah they did do this before. Indeed probably flashbacks next chapters. Nice to see confirmation and that it seems everyone now knows but seems just like Akebi, the readers too will be waiting for Erika's return.

Man one thing I dislike about this series... They build something up for AGES. Only to skip it and then were stuck getting bits and pieces of it in flashbacks forever ugh.

Also find it funny that pretty much everyone was already in love with Komichi yet now it's even worse after the festival lol. Seems most of them know that Erika is her future wifey though.

Erika you better come back asap your wife just got even more popular at school if that's even possible.

Neko Kamimoku, the eternally sleepy one, who's in the archery club. She was in the cheerleading group with Komichi during the sports festival. She's roomates with Usagihara.

I'm assuming the letter trigered memories of the play and in turn made her miss Erika more. Maybe they had something really special happen at the play or the festival somehow is the reason Erika isn't there now and it is making her miss her more.

I need this series injected directly into my veins!

Why are Komichi's fellow students treating her like royalty? Why does the author make Komichi and Neko look so much alike, and why is Komichi screaming in front of Neko's window while standing barefoot in the snow, risking her health in the process?

Most importantly, where is Erika? I hope her absence doesn't imply some doomed yuri shenanigans.

Barefoot in snow because she climbed out the window to shout she is missing Erika and waiting for her. She doesn't want wet shoe as they are indoor canvas/fabric shoes that would track snow and water into the classroom.

She did the performance at the festival and it was so good she generated a real fan club.

Most likey she did post the video of her confession and kiss with Erika online and is being seen as a source of courage for other students to confess to their crush.

I'm betting on Erika is now doing piano performances again and they are requiring her to take leave of absences from Robai since Robai is to remote to just be travel back and forth to in the same day.

Okay, a lot to digest here, might be easier to just make a list

• Post Shiyu Festival
• which means mom had seen the video and their performance and approves (no tension between mother and daughter)
• Komichi and Erika’s performance/video has made her an idol among the other girls, especially other queer girls (particularly one gathering strength to confess to her senpai)
• Komichi and Erika appear to be considered an established couple among the other girls
• Erika is MIA and Komichi misses her :(
• Neko doesn’t like the cold

As others have stated, it would seem that we are going to be going through a lengthy flashback. Hoping Komichi’s parents are included.
