I’ve not read the original but this story is honestly really good. I wasn’t expecting the confession so early in the last chap.

Ayako is a pretty fascinating character. I feel like this chapter dropped several threads on her story to expand upon all at once. At first I thought she was superimposing Asuka on memories of her husband at the beginning, but I’m starting to think that was someone who had an unrequited crush on her in school? Speaking of school, there’s an emphasis on her personality change from that period, which I imagine has to do with meeting her husband but could also be from a variety of other things we haven’t learned yet. To top it all off this recent chapter ends with presumably her sister (they look very similar) showing up out of nowhere and a presumed connection between her and how Ayako perceives Asuka’s feelings. Really wondering how this is all gonna tie together in how she takes Asuka’s confession.

With Asuka, I’m curious to see where her character goes from here. As shown above I think there’s a lot of threads to follow with Ayako but not as much with Asuka, at least for now. Though I imagine her story will be interwoven with her mom’s so there’s that.

I don’t know what the trajectory of the story is at this point and whether or not it’s going to have a happy end to it all (and what exactly a happy ending would entail in the author’s vision) but each chapter gets me more invested.

The flash back to the unnamed girl in high school is new, which is interesting. Can't wait for Asuka to wreak havoc next chapter.

Looking at the chart it's kinda weird most of the new content seems to just be extras, and then it's not even gotten close to how far along the old series was. Sigh. This really is all a marathon ^^#

I also used to think that seiza is incredibly uncomfortable, but with a little practice, it's actually not that bad. You do have to warm up or stretch the foot top tendons beforehand, though, otherwise they'll hurt like a dickens.

I mean... Yeah, pretty much. A few others exist, but this is a niche as fuck genre, unfortunately. If you ever see mother x daughter, Taiyaki is either doing it, behind it, or involved.

The one other major example I can think of is Mizuiro Megane/Pink-noise. That artist does a LOT of very pretty, very long, very involved doujins in this vein. Soft lines, pretty pastels, and sweet storytelling.

Caveat 1: A lot of it is also futa, though.
Caveat 2: This artist also does a lot of mother x son material, and no small amount of romantic bestiality, either, so uh... hope you're either cool with those or know your way around tags and filters.
