Tsun to hard dere like others covered aside, I mildly dislike how the sexual aspect is handled in these types of stories. The "toxic yuri" narrative has problematic emotional relations get expressed in sexual interactions. This leads to development in the characters but, in the mean time, it's implied they're both at least partially enjoying it. When the toxic emotional aspect gets resolved, they then go full vanilla or something close to it.

I am not on the team who complains about the lack of healthy BDSM representation in manga. I would still prefer the resolution be one instead of implying you go vanilla once you stop being toxic. In the end, I don't mind this too much, as a narrative convention rather than any kind of statement about how sexual interactions should work. The author wouldn't write a story like this if they thought power exchange was inherently toxic.

i mean, the context matters in that power exchange, or did you some how forgot what the foundation for BDSM is build out of?

We are talking about a piece of fiction where part of what makes it readable is that Komaki isn't really doing traumatic things Komaki hates. I think I'm allowed to find this style of narrative resolution, where that's overcome and discarded rather than reformed, unsatisfying regardless of how real relationships work.

By the way, how real relationship work would be nothing like anything that happens in this story regardless.

Is it just me or the first panel in ch20 pg14 really looks like Komaki turned into a brown hair version of Wakaba?

I wish we saw some hints at Matsuri getting a happy, move-on style ending. If not for that girl, those two would just dance around the issue endlessly.

I've read it in full, I guess the author tried to make it somewhat unique but the only thing I got out of this in the end is that Komaki fucking sucks :P maybe that was the point though. I don't really find the ending very sweet considering all that unfolded before.

Well, at least that made more sense than the webnovel ending. I think I would've been sold on this story better if Wakaba had an iota of self-awareness instead of just having an epiphany right at the end so everything could be neatly wrapped up. Or maybe if they were both meaner to each other.

Fantastic. I'm thrilled to see a complete resolution to this story and it's frustrating conflict. After so many chapters of feeling like I'm drowning on dry land (affectionately), to have the tension finally break by resolving the core issue and then hit me with wave after wave of bright and cheery highlights is stunning. What a manga.

The last two years (holy crap) reading this feels like it paid off. Good stuff

I had waited until this was done to read through, and I am glad for that. Month by month this might have driven me crazy.

Read start to finish, it vibes to me as over-the-top comedy. Character motivations seem pretty clear - just comedically stupid in a “oh my god” way. I don’t see any dubcon (but admittedly have a high tolerance of such and it’s better to be conservative in tagging).

I also don’t feel much komaki hate. Most of her “cruel” stuff is literally being a good girlfriend, teasing stuff wakaba is clearly into, and like immature jealousy stuff.

I loved it, it is silly dumb adorable.

Poor Matsuri.
Punished for being a well-rounded person.
Even prevented Komaki from crossing the line and committing a serious crime, sheesh.
That one line she just so casually dropped left a very bad taste.
