Selfishly, I hope Hotaru and Nekome don't actually become a couple, I do like the way Hotaru cherish Maki and sees her in a special way even if she hasn't realized herself, and they seemingly have good dynamic, and I do also like the angle that the two main characters are not/will not be together, giving them a friendly chemistry unusual for the genre, and ultimately, the development of their "partnership/fellowship" towards breaking Shiratori's shell.

I can't imagine Yodokawa following through on a student/teacher combo, but Yuna is too fragile to really break her heart (also, too adorable). I hope there's a way out of this that isn't just wishy-washy and indecisive.

I really do wonder what is going through Ms. Shiratori's head. She's remarkably calm, and her expression just does not change. There's a certain harshness to her that makes it hard to see whether she's only putting up with things because that's what's expected or if she is actually happy to help.

I think in this series, the two teachers seem to have more chemistry than teacher x student.

Shiratori being flustered talking to Yuno was an enormous development. It’s the first sign of human emotion we’ve seen out of the woman.

I also found the flashback really interesting. Hotaru calls Aki her “roommate” and “fake lover” in her internal monologue, but it looks this might be one of the rare manga we add to the aro/ace canon.

Is it just me or is nothing happening? The MC is not exactly discontent with her current relationship so she has no reason to change it, and the student teacher thing is obviously not happening... So what is happening?

I think a direct tl of "my number one" would've been more apt!

So I don't know if it's my Wattpad warped brain or not but profxstud and teachxstud is def my favorite genre to read so I think this could go a few different ways.

1. Yuna who is a ray of sunshine but also hiding an awful family life does indeed end up with the grump ice queen crush of hers. It's a strong pairing that just works. and Ms H ends up with her not lover when she shows back up.

2. Yuna talks to her crush a few times and realizes what she feels is more superficial and realizes she doesn't actually love her afterall. And Ms H loses her friend for never showing up again or they stay in some stagnant thing they're in now.

3. This is the one I think might actually happen. Yuna confesses to her crush gets turned down because that woman is an ice queen that seems to be quite blunt, Yuna ends up heartbroken, which then leads to Ms H having Aki? Or whatever her name is return either pregnant or telling Yuna she's getting married because she met someone which in turn also breaks Ms H's heart.

And together Yuna and Ms H bond together and those two are the actual end game and end up together finding comfort in each other and eventually falling for each other after she graduates.

Though with the name of the manga itself it does seem like were getting two relationships? Or this just ends up in subtext hell for Yuna and nothing comes from either side and nothing resolves for Ms. H either.

Though not much has happened we've only had four chapters and this story seems to be something that could stretch for a bit nothing is really being rushed so only time will tell.
