I didn't explain this specifically in the endnotes. The social media post uses dakitsuku (embrace) and Kanna says hagu (hug) instead. So not only did she misread the post, she also uses a word without romantic connotations. My guess is that the author needed Uno to be completely unaware that the post was about romance, because she currently thinks of Ritsu as just a good friend. It's a bit confusing even in Japanese, but that's how it is :)

Real asf, but maybe shes just a natural at it? My first band teacher used to just throw instruments at kids at the beginning of the year and see what sticks. Proper embouchure can be taught later lol. Also I felt that with the unfortunate instrument switch, I really wanted to play trumpet but got stuck on the flute cuz that was the only thing I managed to get any sound out of. Ended up loving it cuz music is great but ye.

Honestly, I think Ritsu looked better with the ponytail. Though that's just a personal preference as I don't really care for female character designs with such short cut hair. If it wasn't for this being a yuri, I would have assumed she was a dude in half of her panels. XD

I think people regardless of fiction or real life should have whatever hair length they're comfortable with regardless of gender.

Looks like the blond bully may not be a bully so much as influenced by his friend who is, judging by the subtle "this again?" reaction he has to said friend trying to pick on toll grill.

I may be reading too much into it, but he may just have a crush on her that he doesn't know how to express, seeing as it's suggested his "bully friend" isn't particularly into the bullying, implying it's the dark haired boy going out of his way to pick on her for some personal reason.
