Well that...was a ending.

This is a story that I found to be really enjoyable as a premise, but I think the series would have been much stronger if they just fully committed to making it a smut story. Like clearly the whole premise is "two maids who can feel each other's pleasure while having sex, and a mother + daughter who are in love with them". Leaning into the sex and building up the relationship between the two pairs through that would have made for a very solid smutty romance in the vein of asumi-chan or something.

Why is everyone so horny for chloe

Curse of being the only sane woman in an ecchi manga.

This was fun. Definitely agree on the ending being a bit rushed, but it didn't feel as catastrophic as some cancellation endings; the separation arc feels like it could have been longer and better-developed, but it still makes for a satisfying enough finale as presented. I just wish we'd have gotten to see Sophia standing up to her little sister instead of giving away the house at the end, and the brief mention of that in the epilogue chapter was kinda eh. Though her being a top with Chloe is a lovely development.

I liked the casual incest on page 2. "Not in the mood now" -- as opposed to other times. :D

It's like Sophia is gentle parenting Chloe about her feelings except it's to fuck lol

The ending feels rushed, did it get axed?

Well, at least it's a happy ending and Chloe got her MILF. I'm satisfied.

yeah, this genre of almost-sex that never quite crosses that line is frustrating to me, it seems pointless. they even have uncensored breasts so what's stopping them? it would've made this a much more worthwhile read

The uncensored breasts were added in the volumes. They were censored in the magazine.

I'd like to remind people that it was published in "Dengeki Daioh G", which is a physical magazine sold in stores in Japan (with digital editions).

It's NOT a hentai magazine. It's for, let's say, "young adults" and while it can publish "sexy" series, it can't cross the line of porn, or it would have to be sold in the +18 section of the stores, which would limit its reach.

Also, as a physical magazine, the number of series in each issue is limited. It's 500+ pages, but not infinite. This kind of magazine gets feedback about popular series in the form of polls and the sales of the volumes. Unpopular stuff gets axed.

In the case of this one, it was wrapped up after vol 1 came out in Japan, which makes me think that sales (and maybe polls) were poor (or not enough) and new series with more potential were knocking on the door. It's the cutthroat law of the manga jungle, sorry.

Don't blame the author, because I'm sure they had more in store in case it took off, with the sister and Korn for example, but their editor probably told them to cut it short.

Maybe blame the Japanese readers that didn't find this series interesting.

Or the publishing structure that keeps leading to all these yuri series getting axed before their time. It feels like a real problem, and after a certain point, when it hits even the really good ones, it doesn't feel like the readership is entirely to blame.

Well, at least we returned to the status quo and Sophia managed to finally land the girl. I was still really hoping for that sense-sharing big foursome though...
