Very interested to see where this goes. I think depressing stories with a flicker of hope for a better future are very appealing. You kinda need to experience both the good and the bad to make either hit hard in fiction.

Surely the emergence of the suicidal yuri microgenre -at least one new series every year- is just the result of the continued proliferation of the genre, and is not a portent of things to come

the art is gorgeous and i love that the main character isn't femme, is about to hit 30 and looks apropriately depressed. can't wait to see how the story develops.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but the title has the word "Saudade," which is a Portuguese word with no direct translation to english but is described as "the joy of grief" a melancholy feeling of nostalgia, often used to say you miss something or someone. Read somewhere that yearning and longing are similar, but I don't think it hits even closer to the original meaning, cause is more something you like to remember but it also pains you to not having anymore.

I expect to be part of the theme of this manga. really looking foward to the angst
