Having reached the part where Manaria talks about her most dreadful of mistakes,it's interesting to see that they gave the maid a face here but not in the animated adaptation.

Makes me wonder if there's a very slight hint of reconciliation yet to be had?...

Rae explicitly calls herself a lesbian, even if she is in love with Claire they've made a real clear point to say that's not the start and end of her sexuality, that's also why they told the story of her first love before getting isekai'd. Lily does theoretically have a chance, but it would require Rae and Claire breaking up in some definitive way and that's unlikely... probably.

Reilaire continues to be a fantastic addition. If I recall correctly, they weren't really a continuing presence in the LN, right?

Relaire is pretty much always there in the LN up to this point, she's just not particularly important. The author certainly doesn't stop every couple of sentences to describe her current appearance, that's a benefit we get from the manga lol

No idea why, but looking at mdex release dates, Aoi Shoujo fell behind with chapter 42 (3 month delay), and again for 43. Before, they'd only been a bit behind the other group, presumably putting in more effort into their translation. Life chaos hit after chapter 41, maybe?

What are you asking exactly? In the novel? Yes. In manga? idk, probably not. I don't think it would be continued to there.

Lily does stand a chance in one chapter near the end of the whole story in LN, when Clarie's existence and all of the memory about her are wiped, though after Rae's memory recovered Lily is again sidelined

That wasn't a chance though, actually the opposite.
That whole thing was more cruel to Lily than anything else in the series. There's never a chance for her at any point. Great moment for Claire and Rae though!
