Last chapter was Honoka sending of the manuscript, this chapter is her getting a call about that manuscript submission while they're in the classroom. So last chapter was a flashback, not a flash forward.

Elisha was getting the friction on in the credits. Hope they stay a thing.

The timline definitely has been loosey-goosey for a while. Kishi-sensei has been jumping forward and backward from chapter to chapter.

yeah, but in that chapter elisha says to send it "if she gets lonely" and the background changes to white to indicate the end of the flashback (now we know, only of the flashback within the chapter, which is itself another flashback). idk if it was a purposeful misdirect or just normal virgins empire timeline shenanigans tho

Random fact: there's no Virgins' Empire anime (unfortunately), but there's a "voice comic" (whatever that is)

I can't even define Miyoshi and Ayano's relationship at this point. These two should have been officially dating by like chapter freaking 10 (^^) They'Ve already had more sexually charged intimate moments than most couples I know

it was done well, i got the sense that maybe beneath the joking around yumimi might actually have had a bit of a thing for miyoshi, who was ofc too wrapped up in ayano to notice. luckily yumimi has nononon now so i don't expect it to go any further but it makes the world feel more connected and gives extra depth to the characters

Tier lists commonly lead to arguments in fandoms from what I've seen, so I often avoid them. Plus I don't really understand the appeal myself, there's certain couples I might favor a bit more here but I try not to play favorites. I generally like the whole cast for a variety of reasons, and I want to see where the author takes each character, that's about the gist of my ranking lol
