I feel so bad for Ruki, she's almost the only decent and the cutest girl in this manga and she get that... She deserve someone who treasure her but I know she won't have it and only get this disappointing girl... If Sachan had only slept with Remi once I might have understood it better with the reason she gives in the next chapter but now that I know she did it a whole month I'm so so so so so so sooooooo disappointed >.>

^Faggotpuffin, Remi wasn't lying, they were together playing around the whole time while Ruki was busy.

I have already read the raw of the next chapter and I have nothing else to say but that Sacchan is just a flipping bitch, and sadly enough Ruki is stupidly in love with her, and I totally agree with what Potatomania said.

Hm. Considering some of Amano sensei's other works, in particular stuff like "Mama Mama", I cannot but think that Remi was all too accurate when she stated that "Sacchan is as straight as they come"... Ruki strikes me as the real deal, but Sacchan may end up merely seeing this as a fun "experiment" 5 years from now. A rather bleak, if probably not too unrealistic, outlook.

God dammit, Sacchan!

Oh, admins may I kindly suggest a NTR OR CHEATING tag to be placed on this chapter so people can actually prepare themselves AND DONT GET FRICKIMG HEART ATTACKS/RAGE MODES? I know "cheating" may be subjective but honestly, who so far who has read this chapter doesn't see it as cheating? Thanks for the hardwork and keep up the awesome job!

Sacchan sucks i really don't like her, Remi just don't care about anybody she just use people for her pleasure, Ruki is just an idiot.

I understand that Remi was just trying to make Ruki take actions but her manners was weird, but that's what she does, she's been fucking girls who are inexperienced since forever, kind is sick but yet i can't dislike her

I never liked Ruki fallen in love with Sacchan, they just don't click, they is not nice together.

Ruki is really stupid i feel bad for her, trying her best for that bitch

Something about IT is so harsh. The Feelings We All Must Endure.

This yuri story is awful! So many cheating and betrayal and it makes it look like as if cheating is something normal.

I'm not terribly invested in this story, I should say first, but I will say too that I think I had more fun reading the #RAGEQUIT posts in the comments section than I did reading the manga itself :)

Dynasty comments are always a laugh riot.

Remi is still my favorite even after this so idgaf. I just wish they would've showed Maasa x Meru in his chapter too :'(

People defending Remi seem to focus on her aggressive sexuality, and completely ignore how much of an asshole she is. Like, yeah, it was Sachi's choice to fuck around for an entire goddamn month and ignore Ruki completely, but Remi went after her explicitly because she wanted to dirty up their innocent little romance. Like, she literally says that. She thought it was adorable that they were trying to make something work, so she aggressively went after Sachi because she REALLY liked the idea of taking this cute girl with a bad history and a burgeoning love and wrecking that shit, moulding her in her own image, while the girl who's actually in love toils away in ignorance. And then, she doesn't simply tell Ruki about it, she goes on a fucking parade with it. Specifically so she can watch Ruki's face as she's crushed. This isn't a sexually uninhibited hedonist in it for fun, this is someone who actively tries to hurt people for her own twisted pleasure. And happens to be the fucking hero of the manga.

I appreciate the spoilers. It kind of confirms for me the most disturbing thing about Remi and her role in the story: she's really supposed to be right. After all the shit she pulls, she doesn't just escape any kind of personal consequence or repercussions, the shit she leaves behind doesn't even stink. She completely alienates Meru over the porn video at a point when she needed support from her friends, but it's okay because she rapes the girl who probably started some rumours, so everything is magically fixed. She gouges a fucking hole in Ruki and Sachi's relationship, but what do you know, turned out it was incredibly valuable and necessary for Sachi's development as a person, and now their relationship is totally great and even better than it was before.

Nothing she does is allowed to go wrong, nobody she hurts is allowed to dislike her, she fucks anyone she feels like fucking without fail, and the author refuses to ruffle a single hair on her head. The real problem with Remi isn't that she's promiscuous, or even that she's a horrible, horrible person. The problem with Remi is that the whole fucking world twists itself into impossible shapes to fit her whims, ensuring that everything she does is awesome, that nobody ever meaningfully questions what she's doing or why she's doing it. She's literally at Edward Cullen or Christian Grey-levels of fucking awful person treated as untouchably perfect by author fiat, and she makes everyone around her more disgusting and more hateful just from their unwillingness to go against her. It's trashy writing from an author I really, really liked, and I feel like it's poisoning my opinion of the stuff she's written that I used to enjoy. Ugh.

Edit: Apparently I don't understand how spoiler tags work. Should be fine now. Christ, I'm so worked up about this, what am I even doing with my life.

whoa, all the confusing rage.

Seems to me that Remi's being presented as a person with good intentions and a vile nature, so she's being beneficent by being awful. She wants to disrupt the passivity that's ruining Sacchan and Ruki's relationship. Sacchan will go along with anything because the alternative for her is blind, unhelpful anger, and Ruki never believed that she had anything resembling a chance, and she's wanting to put off the rejection as long as she can.

I admit, I don't understand the apparently common belief that cheating in a relationship demonstrates a reprehensible, rotten, and unfixable moral core. I mean, I wouldn't like it if it happened to me, but I also figure that it's something that takes place in the context of a relationship, and so it's up to the partner to forgive or not. Regardless, a lot of character nuance seems to be glossed over by people who are just mad about the cheating.

Oh, and so Ruki's officially envy. That makes Remi.... greed? Makes sense.

I'm hesitant to form any lasting opinions yet, because there's still two chapters to go, but I can sort of understand what motivated Sacchan's behaviour - that doesn't mean it wasn't incredibly shitty though. I don't think one indiscretion means the end for a relationship, particularly if they're willing to discuss it, but she apparently fucked Remi behind Ruki's back for an entire month, and in general has just been a shitty fucking girlfriend. But I don't think that means she's an awful person. Most people's first relationships are training wheels relationships, where they figure out how to be with someone and deal with doing shitty things to someone you love and having them done to you. But I think in this regard they've gone past the point of no return and should each cut their losses.

But I know they won't, clearly, because Ruki is stupid over Sacchan.

Also, /u/ anon messed up first, go check the thread again. Ruki's apparently pride, Remi's envy.

What thread, this one? Can't find it here.

Huh. I kind of like Ruki as pride. Her ego keeps her from communicating well with Sacchan (because it might lead to rejection) or from giving up. Interesting.

But Remi as envy is not great. I think it's pretty trite if she's really motivated by wanting to be innocent and loving and emotionally involved with people, like the others are. Like "ohh, she's really just sad deep down!" Boring.

So MAASA is greed? Hm.

The author can go fuck themself since she/he obviously wants all yuri fans to kill themselves with this horseshit of a yuri managa...what the fuck tho...my heart can't take it and I hope there's a good fucking ending for ruki, fue, and massa

Seriously, what?

People, you need to step back a bit if you're getting this freaked out. Go read some Wife And Wife and decompress.

^. Maybe add some Chatting at the Amber Teahouse in between volumes.

Ahhh, sorry, I thought you were getting them from the Recent Releases thread on /u/, someone from Kawaii was sharing some quotes about the characters from chapter 14. Remi as envy is explained pretty succinctly there.

"She's not envious of others, but enjoys having others envy her."

Wait, what? You're all going on about how Sachi cheated on Ruki, but... were they even dating? From what I remember, Ruki confessed to her, they've had sex once and that's it?

Roomie

^ They may not have been dating officially but sachan kept being around Ruki looking very close to her and they slept together or at least Sachan let Ruki do it
Sachan was postponing her answer to Ruki's confession but was being very close and letting Ruki hope if not more.
To me me it is even worse that they are not clearly dating, she just let Ruki do anything letting her hope and then just crush these hope by sleeping with Remi for a month

and then in the next chapter she go back to Ruki as if nothing happened

Eh. You can't really cheat on someone if you've never actually gone exclusive with them in the first place.

All you can really get frustrated at Sachi about is her stringing Ruki along instead of just outright rejecting her.

I DID think Chatting at the Amber Teahouse was GOOD. It was a GOOD manga.

^ Well, that's a bit unclear but although she never gave Ruki an answer, she wasn't doing a lot of things to give her the impression that she dislikes her. It was like stringing along someone who would never press you for an answer. Ruki promised she would wait and she kept her end of the bargain. And I interpreted what Sachi says in chapters 10 and 11 as them having done it a couple of times. Although everything is vague, the decent thing would be to make up your mind eventually and just state things as they are. Ruki having slept with Remi and not revealing that to Sachi (that's why she was pissed, wasn't it?) shouldn't even matter if Sachi felt there was nothing going on between them.
